RL2/RL2i Line Array System | The Performance Benchmark for Large-Scale Sound Reinforcement
Acoustics & Performance: Precision Dispersion, Uncompromising Output
Purpose-built for large-scale indoor venues and stadium-grade reinforcement,the RL2/RL2i sets the definitive benchmark for heavy-duty line array architecture. Supporting vertical flown arrays of up to 24 cabinets, the system maintains an exceptionally linear frequency response even over extreme throw distances, while delivering extraordinary dynamic bandwidth, high power handling, and commanding headroom.
The acoustic design utilizes a 3-way bi-amplified architecture, featuring active external crossovers for the LF/MF sections and an integrated passive network between the MF/HF components to ensure pristine acoustic fidelity. Housed within a fully symmetrical geometric layout, dual 12-inch neodymium LF drivers are arranged in a bipolar configuration to deliver deep, impactful low-end punch. Coaxially integrated at the center is a horn-loaded 10-inch MF transducer, alongside dual HF compression drivers featuring 1.4-inch throats, 3-inch voice coils, and dedicated line-source waveguides.
These specialized waveguides facilitate seamless acoustic coupling to generate a coherent, vertical wavefront. This enables a flexible 70°–90°– 110° horizontal constant directivity dispersion, maintaining precise pattern control down to 250 Hz to effortlessly adapt to diverse venue geometries.
Rigging & Durability: Streamlined Workflow, Industrial Rigidity
The RL2/RL2i incorporates a patented,integrated stainless-steel and aluminum-alloy splay rigging system. Fully recessed into the enclosure, this hardware significantly simplifies onsite load-in and suspension workflows, drastically reducing crew labor times. Inter-enclosure splay angles adjust flexibly from 0° to 8° in 1° increments, allowing precise acoustic shaping to match predicted venue profiles.
Constructed entirely from premium marine-grade birch plywood,the enclosure is coated in a high-grade polyurea finish,providing exceptional impact resistance and UV protection,to withstand the punishing realities of continuous outdoor touring.
For ultimate component protection, the front features a rigid metal grille backed with an acoustically transparent, water-resistant fabric that blocks moisture without compromising high-frequency transparency. Ergonomic recessed handles on all side panels and an additional rear handle ensure smooth, effortless logistics and handling.
