Engineered specifically for flown subwoofer reinforcement in outdoor touring applications, the FS3 is purpose-designed to integrate seamlessly with the RL3 line array system. Its precision-tuned band-pass enclosure maximizes acoustic efficiency while delivering exceptionally deep, powerful, and controlled low-frequency reproduction.
At the heart of the system is a custom-developed 18-inch long-excursion transducer, jointly engineered with B&C Speakers, Italy. Equipped with a 4-inch (100 mm) voice coil, weather-resistant paper cone, and triple-roll surround, the driver handles up to 3000W program power, providing exceptional headroom and sustained output for demanding live productions.
A lightweight neodymium magnet assembly, combined with a dual-spider suspension system, ensures maximum linear excursion while maintaining outstanding transient accuracy and dynamic consistency. The result is low-frequency reproduction that remains powerful, articulate, and remarkably natural—even at extreme sound pressure levels.
Rigging & Durability: Flexible Deployment, Touring-Grade Construction
Designed for maximum deployment efficiency, the FS3 features an integrated stainless-steel quick-lock flying system that is securely incorporated into the enclosure. Installation is fast, intuitive, and highly reliable, significantly reducing setup time in demanding touring environments. Supporting both flown arrays and ground-stacked configurations, the enclosure can also be mechanically integrated with the RL3 system in stacked deployments, providing exceptional flexibility for a wide variety of venue layouts.
Constructed from entirely from premium marine-grade birch plywood, the cabinet is finished in a rugged black PU protective coating for superior resistance against impact, abrasion, and the rigors of continuous transportation.The reinforced steel grille employs a specially engineered rib structure with large-aperture perforation, providing excellent driver protection while minimizing airflow resistance. The optimized design reduces turbulence and unwanted mechanical resonance, ensuring vibration-free operation and uncompromised low-frequency clarity even under maximum output conditions.
Applications & Integration: Purpose-Driven Design, System Synergy
Every design detail has been optimized for professional touring workflows. Ergonomically integrated side handles facilitate safe and efficient handling, while precision alignment recesses on the cabinet top interface with corresponding stacking feet to ensure secure positioning and increased stability during ground stacking.
Purpose-built for indoor and outdoor concert reinforcement, the FS3 serves as the dedicated flown subwoofer companion to the RL3 line array platform. Together, the system delivers extended low-frequency bandwidth, enhanced dynamic impact, and greater spatial immersion, creating a cohesive and authoritative sound field for demanding live productions.
