Sound Resonates Along the Coast, Youth Sings Out! Reyn Audio Powers Power Station's Taizhou Yuhuan Concert

The 2026 Power Station "Keep Going" Tour Yuhuan Stop rocked the Yuhuan Olympic Sports Center Stadium on October 17. Tens of thousands of fans gathered to sing along to classic rock hits like "When" and "Tomorrow and Tomorrow's Tomorrow," immersing themselves in Power Station's soaring live vocals.

As a coastal open-air professional stadium, the venue features a large horizontal span, deep viewing zones, and multi-tiered staggered stands, covering a massive audience area. Open outdoor environments easily produce acoustic challenges like air sound pressure attenuation, cluttered sound waves from steel structure reflections, sound field fractures between the inner field and distant stands, and front-to-back synchronization delays. This poses rigorous tests on vocal clarity, low-frequency impact, and overall sound field uniformity.

To master the complex acoustics of the open-air stadium, this concert deployed Reyn Audio professional sound systems, utilizing the TURANDOT acoustic system platform for sound field modeling and placement optimization. The platform pre-calculated acoustic parameters for stand dead zones, far-rear areas, and side stands, precisely correcting time delays, eliminating noise from sound wave refraction, and fundamentally solving near-far sound imbalances in outdoor stadiums. This ensures every seat enjoys a clear, full, and synchronized audio experience, perfectly matching the high demands of Power Station's rock style for vocal penetration and low-frequency rhythm.

Main Array

The main reinforcement core array consisted of 24 RL15 (RAFALE15) units paired with 8 RL2 (RAFALE2) units, undertaking the primary sound reinforcement. This array efficiently projects Power Station's explosive vocals and rich instrumental signals across the main venue area, ensuring sound pressure for mid-to-long distance stands while retaining audio detail and layering. Vocals are crisp and transparent with excellent instrument separation, letting fans fully experience the power of a live rock show.

Side Fill Arrays

To compensate for sound pressure attenuation in the side stands, side fill arrays were set up on both sides of the stage: Side 1 configured with 24 RL15 (RAFALE15) and 8 RL2 (RAFALE2) units; Side 2 with 12 RL2 (RAFALE2) units. This significantly broadens the horizontal sound coverage, balances volume gaps between left and right zones, fully restores the pristine texture of vocals and instruments, and gives side-stand audiences a balanced and transparent listening experience.

Rear Fill Arrays

A total of 4 rear fill groups were deployed, each featuring 12 RL2 (RAFALE2) units. Specifically designed to compensate for the rear stands, they offset sound loss from long-distance propagation and synchronize time delays, ensuring rear-field sound pressure and timbre align closely with the inner field, allowing the rock waves to reach the very last row.

Subwoofer Arrays

For low frequencies, a dual-layer subwoofer array was built with 18 flown GS218 (CANNON218) units (Fly Sub) and 54 ground-stacked GS218 (CANNON218) units (Ground Sub). Full, heavy low frequencies evenly saturated the venue, delivering punchy, clean, and unmuddy drums and bass with sharp, solid low-end response, laying a solid sonic foundation for rock tracks and continuously igniting the carnival atmosphere.

Front Fill Array

Equipped with 20 RX12 (COBRA12) units forming the front fill array, it precisely covers the front-row inner field, effectively balancing near-field sound pressure, preventing volume overload, and delicately restoring singer vocals and instrumental details for a clean, transparent, and pressure-free acoustic experience in the front rows.

Stage Monitoring System

Configured with 14 M1 (ABRAMS) stage monitor speakers to build a professional monitoring system, providing Power Station's two lead singers with uncolored, high-definition feedback. This allows them to precisely capture their vocals and band accompaniment free from main array interference, ensuring stable performance and zero-error singing throughout the show.

Amplifier Drive System

The entire sound array is uniformly driven by RA1 and RA2 amplifier system racks, providing ample and balanced power supply to keep operating conditions stable during hours of high-intensity performance. With steady sound pressure and uniform timbre throughout, it secures solid audio power backing for the entire rock feast.

Stage lighting for this concert was escorted by ACME professional luminaires. The lighting system closely followed song rhythms and stylistic shifts—fast songs featured sharp, explosive beams, while slow songs showcased gentle, atmospheric lighting. Beams projected over long distances without scattering, ensuring multi-tiered stands received complete visuals. Beam and wash effects closely matched the emotional tone of the rock music, fusing light, shadow, and melody to push the live atmosphere from wave to wave.
