Jay Chou’s World Tour descended upon the Qingdao Citizens Fitness Center Stadium for a massive three-night run from October 3rd to 5th during the National Day holiday.

As a coastal landmark and large-scale open-air stadium, the venue features a vast outdoor layout, wide horizontal spans, and a multi-tiered seating structure. It accommodates tens of thousands of fans across floor and multi-level tiered seating.

Filling a massive stadium while keeping thousands singing in unison demands robust professional audio support. The Qingdao stops relied entirely on Reyn Audio, anchored by the industry-leading TURANDOT Acoustic System Platform. TURANDOT performed precise acoustic modeling for the stadium, pre-calculating parameters for tier levels, distant zones, corner dead zones, and rear fields to optimize sound pressure balance for a seamless, high-fidelity experience across all three nights.

The center stage deployed 6 units of RL2 (RAFALE2) line arrays to anchor vocals for clear detail in mid and lower tiers. Left and right main arrays utilized 36 units of RL15 (RAFALE15) as core sound generators to deliver a balanced mid-high frequency foundation.

To cover expansive side seating, multiple fill systems were deployed: 36 units of RL15 for Side 1, 30 units for Side 2, 16 units of RL2 for Side 3, and 8 units of RL2 for Side Down, ensuring zero dead zones across all tiers.

The low-frequency system combined 24 flown GS218 (CANNON218) subwoofers with 76 ground-stacked GS218 units, saturating the stadium with punchy bass and maximizing the concert's energetic atmosphere.

Near-field and distant sound fields were optimized concurrently: 14 RL2 units managed front fills to avoid distortion near the stage. 24 RL15 units handled main PA delays alongside 12 ground clusters totaling 64 RL2 units to correct propagation delays for distant tiers, unifying front-and-rear acoustics.

To meet the artist's monitoring needs, a comprehensive stage monitoring system featured 20 M1 (ABRAMS) monitors, 6 RL3 line arrays, and 4 FS3 subwoofers. The entire array was driven reliably by RA1 and RA2 power amplifier racks for consistent, high-intensity output across three days.

Stage visuals were supported by ACME's professional lighting fixtures, linked in real-time with Reyn Audio’s rhythm. Layered beam, wash, and effects lights shifted fluidly between ballads and uptempo tracks. Long-distance beams remained sharp and focused, blending seamlessly with LED screens to amplify emotional tension and deliver immersive visuals for tens of thousands of fans.
