Reyn Audio Provides Full Acoustic Support for David Tao's Soul Power II Plus Tour in Wuhan

From March 27 to 29, 2026, David Tao's Soul Power II Plus world tour opened at Wuhan Sports Center. Reyn Audio provided high-quality audio equipment and acoustic technical support for three performances.

Acoustic Challenges of Large Outdoor Venues

Wuhan Sports Center is a large open-air venue with wide span and multi-tiered stands. This causes sound attenuation and uneven coverage. Reyn Audio used a full professional audio setup with the TURANDOT acoustic system platform to solve these problems.

Pre-Show Sound Optimization

The TURANDOT acoustic system platform simulated the venue's acoustics and calculated sound propagation before the event. This identified dead zones and weak areas early, locking in optimal settings for even, clear sound across the venue.

Main PA System

The Main PA system used RAFALE15 and RAFALE2 line array speakers, paired with CANNON218 subwoofers.

The RAFALE15 covers long distances with strong mid-lows. The RAFALE2 delivers clear highs. Together they cover the inner field and main stands with a wraparound sound field.

Fill Sound: Eliminating Dead Zones

Inner field sides use Side 1 ( 32 RAFALE15 + 8 RAFALE2 ) and Side 2 (8 RAFALE2 ) to fill side gaps. Side stands use Side 3 ( 28 RAFALE15 + 8 RAFALE2 ) to fix high-altitude sound loss. The result is balanced audio everywhere.

Bass System

CANNON218 at stage front use cardioid layout for clean, powerful lows. This strengthens drums and bass in songs like Finding Myself and 10:30 at the Airport without interfering with vocals.

Front-Row Audio

COBRA12 cover the VIP front rows. They fix the blind spot from the elevated Main PA and reproduce vocal details clearly.

Far-field sync, every detail clear

Four delay towers with RAFALE2 speakers each sync with the main stage. This removes delay and volume loss for far stand listeners, preserving detail in songs like Small Town Girl and Angel.

System Stability

RA1 and RA2 digital amplifier racks handle power and signal processing. Dante network redundancy prevents signal loss. Shock-resistant build fits touring needs. Low-distortion output keeps vocals clear all night.

Reyn Audio's precise setup created full-coverage, high-quality sound for David Tao's Wuhan shows. The finale Love Is Very Simple closed the event with thousands singing along.
