TURANDOT Acoustic System Platform

The sound reinforcement system for this Zhengzhou stop was fully equipped with Reyn Audio professional live sound equipment. Relying entirely on the TURANDOT acoustic system platform to complete whole-venue sound field simulation and modeling, and combining the venue's spatial structure and multi-layer seating distribution, complete acoustic pre-judgment and scheme deduction were carried out. This proactively avoided various live acoustic challenges such as sound wave reflections, sound field faults, and distant/near listening imbalances, ensuring that every seat in the venue could capture authentic vocal lines and delicate instrumental details.

Main PA System

The Main PA system for this performance consisted of 28 RL15 (RAFALE15) and 8 RL2 (RAFALE2) line array speakers combined, serving as the core of the venue's sound output and fully covering the main audience area. The collaborative matching of these two line array speakers provided both outstanding high-frequency transparency and solid mid-range density. They could lay out the grand and full arrangement atmosphere of classic hits like "Friends" and "Swordsman and Dreams," while accurately capturing Wakin Chau's signature warm vocals with smooth and clear articulation. Even during high-dynamic vocal segments, there was no distortion or compression, perfectly preserving the step-by-step emotional progression of the songs.

Fill Systems (Side Fill)

The side stands of the venue are prone to sound pressure attenuation issues. On-site, 28 RL2 (RAFALE2) units were deployed as Side 1 fills and 12 RL2 (RAFALE2) units as Side 2 fills, specifically for directional sound supplementation to the side stands. This filled the side sound field gaps that the main array struggled to cover, eliminated listening discrepancies between the left and right areas, and ensured that audiences in the side stands enjoyed a full and balanced listening experience without missing a single touching chorus.

Subwoofer System

The low-frequency system adopted a dual-matrix layout of flown subwoofers paired with ground subwoofers. 18 GS218 (CANNON218) subwoofer cabinets were flown as Fly Subs to evenly deliver rich low frequencies to all middle and rear stands of the venue, while 24 GS218 (CANNON218) subwoofer cabinets were stacked on the ground as Ground Subs to enhance the low-frequency impact texture in the front rows of the inner field.

Front Fill

A total of 10 RX12 (COBRA12) front fill speakers were arranged uniformly along the front edge of the stage, specifically designed to make up for the front-row listening shortcomings caused by insufficient downward projection from the main array. This filled the near-field coverage gap of the stage, ensured that the vocals for the front-row audience of the inner field were forward and clear, and completely resolved issues of thin front-row sound pressure and missing details.

Stage Monitors

A total of 14 M1 (ABRAMS) monitor speakers were deployed in the stage area, providing a clean and transparent stage monitoring sound field for Wakin Chau and all the band members on site.

The entire set of speaker equipment was uniformly driven by RA1 amplifier system racks, capable of adapting to the high-intensity operating conditions of long durations and alternating high-low dynamics throughout the performance, continuously unleashing the full performance of the entire sound system and providing solid power support for the full-venue reinforcement system.

ACME Lighting Outlines the Fantasy Stage Scroll

The visual effects of the entire stage were crafted by ACME's professional series lighting fixtures throughout, covering the stage truss, extended runway, and audience areas, outlining an ultimate dreamy fantasy stage canvas. When brisk and enthusiastic melodies such as "Swordsman and Dreams" and "Flower Heart" played, the stage instantly switched to dynamic and agile light and shadow rhythms. Multi-variable beams crossed and intertwined with explosive and rich color layers, and the light and shadow dynamics moved precisely with the drumbeats, instantly elevating the enthusiastic atmosphere of the entire venue and awakening the youthful passion of the audience.

On the night of the performance, classic tracks passed down through decades were sung in turns, and spontaneous mass sing-alongs from the audience rose one after another. Relying on the full sets of Reyn Audio and ACME, the live sound waves fully replicated the sentimental passage of time carried within the singing. Warm and touching melodies filled the entire venue of Zhengzhou, using professional acoustic power to preserve the youthful thoughts of a generation.
