On March 3, 2025, REYN AUDIO successfully concluded a special technical training session for the Turandot acoustic system platform at the Foshan Yifeng headquarters. Open to internal staff and cooperative clients, the training was delivered by Su Xinping, official consultant of REYN AUDIO, and Liang Bing, senior designer, attracting trainees from across the region to attend the on-site learning.

The training consisted of two major modules. The morning session covered the full workflow of Turandot sound field simulation, including spatial design, sound source configuration, microphone layout, sound field optimization, hoisting point planning and report output. The afternoon session focused on system control and commissioning, power amplifier configuration, and practical application of network communication protocols. Integrating full-link functions from sound field simulation and hardware control to safety protection, the system is highly versatile and applicable to various performance scenarios.

1. Operating temperature: Ensure the switch can operate stably under on-site working conditions.

2. Match the network load requirements and disable EEE energy-saving switches.

3. Support IGMP protocol to adapt to Dante multicast transmission.

4. Ordinary switches are acceptable for dedicated audio networks. For mixed networks integrating audio, video and lighting equipment, managed switches are required with PTP priority and QoS settings enabled to ensure stable audio signal transmission.


Q: Differences and applications of TCP and UDP protocols?

TCP features high stability and accuracy, ensuring complete and ordered data transmission for scenarios requiring high data precision. By contrast, UDP delivers faster transmission and lower latency, making it ideal for real-time audio transmission. In Dante audio networks, the two protocols can be selected flexibly based on actual demands to achieve efficient and stable audio signal transmission.
