On February 25, Prolight + Sound (PLS) Guangzhou 2022 officially opened. As the year's first major audiovisual event, it drew massive crowds and earned high industry praise for its innovative concepts, high-performance equipment, and immersive experiences.
"Unicorn" Dual-Core Showcases Take Center Stage
The absolute highlight of the exhibition was the PLS Unicorn Series, featuring two main interactive zones:
The Theme Stage Show: Themed "Respect Space-Time, Chase the Dream," this showcase featured a curved stage, advanced mechanical installations, and LED screens to create a sci-fi audiovisual feast. ACME partnered with REYN AUDIO, deploying over a thousand professional lighting fixtures to deliver a high-impact, synchronized light and sound performance.
Immersive Entertainment Space: This groundbreaking "Exhibition + Bar" cross-industry concept seamlessly blended performances, parties, and leisure. Spearheaded by ACME in collaboration with 13 top brands, the space utilized over a thousand lighting fixtures—including the AECO 20, XP 550 BSW, CM 560Z, BEAM 50 series, and BL-100Z RGBL—to create a high-energy atmosphere. Lead designer Hong Fei also shared professional insights on-site.
The event was simultaneously livestreamed on Douyin, drawing nearly 10,000 virtual visitors online.
REYN AUDIO Spotlights Hardcore Sound Technology
At Booth C08 in Hall 4.2, REYN AUDIO showcased a massive lineup of audio gear. Senior Designer Su Xinping was on-site demonstrating the Turandot Acoustic Simulation Technology.
